Baseball Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the Pisgah Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Saturday.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Pisgah, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.

Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pisgah, they will challenge Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
