Evergreen - Clements recap Oct. 9, 2012

Hunter Luhmann of Proctor Academy ran for the longest rushing play in Evergreen - Clements this season against Tilton School last week. Luhmann ran for 82 yards on the play and finished with 100 on the day as his team beat the Rams.

Proctor Academy took down Tilton School 53-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Blake Joppy ran for 121 yards and caught one passes for 47 yards in the win.

New Hampton School's dynamic duo of Milan Murray and Matthew Dean proved tough for Kents Hill School to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Murray threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns and Dean had 152 yards receiving. Ken Miyachi helped New Hampton School's passing attack out by catching three balls for 39 yards.

Jeff Paras made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Huskies topped the Huskies. The 6-foot-4 senior racked up 1.0 sack.

New Hampton School's Murray and Dean have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Murray has thrown for 336 yards this season, while Dean, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 15 catches for 322 yards. The Hornets' Joppy leads the league in rushing yards with 446.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pingree takes on Holderness. As it stands, the Highlanders are in third, while the Bulls are in fourth.

Pingree led Evergreen - Clements in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Hebron Academy.
