Softball Recap: Maple Mountain Golden Eagles vs. Wasatch Wasps        
        
		
            
 Maple Mountain can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Wasatch Wasps  a   15-0 shutout. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Maple Mountain.
  Kyla Donegan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over four innings pitched. Donegan has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Donegan was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with four  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Lydia Tibbals was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Izzie Groneman was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Maple Mountain has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record  this season. As for Wasatch, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record  this season.
 Maple Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Spanish Fork at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Wasatch, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Uintah at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Uintah is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.3  runs per game  this season.
