Mira Mesa won the last time they faced Canyon Hills and things went their way on Friday too. The Mira Mesa Marauders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Canyon Hills Rattlers 80-36. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Mira Mesa's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Canyon Hills, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mira Mesa will welcome Scripps Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mira Mesa is facing Scripps Ranch at the right time seeing as Scripps Ranch is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Canyon Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kearny at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kearny has three straight victories, Canyon Hills has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
