Softball Recap: Benzie Central Comes Up Short

Benzie Central lost to Elk Rapids back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huskies came up short against the Elks, falling 12-2. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benzie Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Elk Rapids, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benzie Central will challenge Frankfort at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Elk Rapids, they will take on Kingsley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Elks will need to watch out since the Stags have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
