Lufkin waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Spring Hill. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Lufkin has posted since August 21st.

Lufkin's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Spring Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coincidentally, Lufkin and Spring Hill will both be playing De Kalb the next time they take the court. Spring Hill will head out to face De Kalb at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while Lufkin will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
