Volleyball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colfax can now relate to. They came up short against the Webster Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Colfax has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season. As for Webster, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 31-2.

Colfax does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Webster, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Shell Lake on the 25th.
