Basketball Recap: Canton Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Canton extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Preston Brewer. The Canton Tigers blew past the Highland Cougars 67-43 on Tuesday thanks in part to Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Canton's points.

Another player making a difference was Blake Sparrow, who posted seven points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Canton is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game.
