Basketball Game Preview: Chapin Eagles vs. Dorman Cavaliers

The Chapin Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Dorman Cavaliers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Chapin is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Clover just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by the Blue Eagles 60-30. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dorman's game on Saturday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Norcross by a score of 47-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Dorman's win came from a few key players Chapin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Makayla Moore, who posted 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan White, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Chapin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
