Basketball Recap: Uxbridge Extends Winning Streak to Three

Uxbridge entered their tilt with Oxford on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 51-27 margin over the Oxford Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Uxbridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Oxford, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Uxbridge and Hopedale will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oxford, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leicester at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
