Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission East waltzed into their contest on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Shawnee Mission East never let Louisburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24.

Shawnee Mission West's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Shawnee Mission East, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
