Basketball Recap: Highland Find Success + How To Watch

Highland's tournament run continued when they took on Vision on Friday. The Huskies managed a 29-23 victory over Vision. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Highland can attribute much of their success to Kylee Beck, who posted seven points in addition to 16 rebounds and three blocks. Beck is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shyanne Stamper, who had five points and three steals.

Highland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Vision, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Highland has already played their next game, a 44-19 victory against Rimrock on the 21st. As for Vision, they and Horseshoe Bend will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
