Soccer Recap: Rhinelander Takes a Loss

Rhinelander managed to keep up with Lakeland until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hodags came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for Rhinelander in their meetings with Lakeland: they've now lost five in a row.

Rhinelander's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for Lakeland, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Coincidentally, Rhinelander and Lakeland will both be playing Mosinee the next time they take the pitch. The Hodags will head out to face the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
