Baseball Game Preview: Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts vs. Boone County Rebels

The Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts will challenge the Boone County Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Lloyd Memorial came up short against Dixie Heights and fell 8-5. The Juggernauts have struggled against the Colonels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Grayson Begnoche made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Lloyd Memorial is 6-2 when Begnoche posts two or more runs, but 6-11 otherwise.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Boone County and Conner, and Conner kept the tradition alive. The Rebels came up short against the Cougars on Wednesday, falling 11-1.

Lloyd Memorial now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Boone County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
