Basketball Recap: Garber Takes a Loss

Garber lost against Bay City Western back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Garber Dukes took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bay City Western Warriors.

Garber now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Bay City Western, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Garber and Bay City Western could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Garber (ranked 250th) will meet Standish-Sterling (ranked 118th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bay City Western will face off against Davison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 190 places (372 vs. 182).
