Volleyball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Harrison couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Forsyth Raiders on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hoyas in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 26-28, 25-15.

Sydney Hardy paced Harrison's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hardy got some help from Taryn Musca and her 14 assists. Hardy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

North Forsyth found their leader in freshman Lyla Jane Craft, who had 17 digs and six aces. Craft is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 30-10. As for North Forsyth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 29-6.

Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Forsyth, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Richmond Hill on the 21st.
