Kosciusko and Germantown are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Kosciusko Whippets will challenge the Germantown Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Kosciusko came up short against Union and fell 9-6.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Germantown's offense. They lost 10-0 to Brandon on Monday. The Mavericks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mollie Haley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one stolen base.

Kosciusko's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Germantown, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Kosciusko couldn't quite finish off Germantown in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can Kosciusko avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
