Ooltewah is 9-1 against Soddy Daisy since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Ooltewah Owls will host the Soddy Daisy Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Ooltewah was beaten by East Hamilton 64-26. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, Soddy Daisy beat Chattanooga Central 52-43 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Soddy Daisy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5. As for Ooltewah, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Ooltewah was able to grind out a solid victory over Soddy Daisy in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, winning 65-53. Will Ooltewah repeat their success, or does Soddy Daisy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
