Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canton Central Catholic). They blew past the Aquinas Knights 14-4 on Saturday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Canton Central Catholic, bringing their record up to 15-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Aquinas, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Canton Central Catholic will face off against Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Aquinas, they are taking a road trip to square off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
