George Ranch can attribute much of their success to Tony Morrison, who threw for 318 yards and three TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes, and Hayden Drinkard, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Fulshear's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for George Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
