Softball Recap: Murphy Comes Up Short

Murphy managed to slip by Rosman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 10-3 to the Tigers on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this matchup were averaging 3.88 runs allowed.

Emma Hensley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Murphy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Rosman, their record is now 4-7.

Murphy has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Tellico Plains on the 27th. As for Rosman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Avery County on the 1st.
