Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles). They blew past the Montrose Rams 14-4 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Ella Mose was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kylie Fiting and Allison Zelinko did most of the damage at the plate: Fiting went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Zelinko went 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base.
