Volleyball Recap: Lorain Comes Up Short

Lorain lost against Brookside back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lorain sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 17-25, 25-15, 23-25, 15-11.

Lorain's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brookside, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Lorain is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Lake Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookside, they will challenge Keystone at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season.
