Baseball Recap: Timberlake Christian Comes Up Short

Timberlake Christian was the 6-1 winner over Westover Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Timberlake Christian came up short against Westover Christian Academy on Friday, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Tornadoes have lost by exactly ten runs.

Timberlake Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Billy Shumaker, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Shumaker is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Timberlake Christian's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Westover Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
