Escondido Charter had to settle for second on Friday, but Lilly Harper sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Harper was still locked in as she struck out ten batters over eight innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
