Soccer Recap: Rock Hill vs. South Point
Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the South Point Pointers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Redmen were already down 5-1.
Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Point, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Hill will venture away from home to challenge Ironton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Point, they will take on Gallia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gallia Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully South Point likes a good challenge.
