Basketball Recap: White Deer Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact White Deer can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 57-42 to the Miami Warriors. The Bucks haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Miami's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacer Dempsey led the charge by putting up 20 points. The dominant performance gave Dempsey a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Landry Dukes, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points and five boards.

White Deer's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Miami, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

White Deer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami, they will square off against Happy on Thursday. One thing working in Happy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
