Soccer Recap: Citrus Takes a Loss

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Citrus was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 6-1 to The Villages Charter Buffalo. The defeat continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Buffalo: they've now lost five in a row.

Citrus' goal came courtesy of Nicholas Estevez, who's now up to five this season.

Citrus' loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for The Villages Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-7.

Citrus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against South Lake on the 10th. As for The Villages Charter, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Forest at 7:00 p.m.
