Basketball Recap: Mountain Top Christian Comes Up Short

Mountain Top Christian lost against Rock County Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mountain Top Christian had to suffer through a 88-44 loss at the hands of the Rock County Christian Eagles.

Rock County Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derek Quinn, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 18 boards. That's the most points Quinn has posted since back in November of 2024. Macen Osland was another key player, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 assists.

Mountain Top Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Rock County Christian, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wisconsin School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Rock County Christian will head out to face Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Mountain Top Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 24th.
