Basketball Recap: Stamford Wins Going Away Against Bridgeport Central

Stamford won the last time they faced Bridgeport Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stamford Black Knights blew past the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers 70-46. The match marked the Black Knights' most dominant win of the season so far.

Stamford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Connors, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 20 points along with five boards and three steals. Connors has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Damar Taylor, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards.

The win made it two in a row for Stamford and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stamford will head out to square off against Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridgeport Central, they will venture away from home to take on Warde/Ludlowe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridgeport Central is looking for their season's first victory.
