Preview: South Robeson vs. Plymouth
South Robeson (3-8) is set to face off against Plymouth (7-5) in a playoff match this Friday at 7:30 PM. Plymouth is cruising in on a four-game winning streak while South Robeson is stumbling off of three losses in a row.
Two weeks ago, South Robeson took on Fairmont. South Robeson's defense took a beating in the first half, giving up 28 points. That put it down 28 - 22. The defense unfortunately couldn't turn things around in the second half and allowed another 28 points. The net result was a 56 - 48 defeat.
As for Plymouth, it can now show off four landslide victories after its most recent game. It breezed past North Edgecombe last week with a final score of 38 - 8. Junior Elijah Carmack was especially active in the win, finding the end zone an impressive four times.
With big points in their last games, don't be surprised if the score for this one stands out.
