Softball Recap: Skyview Storm vs. Puyallup Vikings
With a playoff game on the line, Skyview rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Puyallup Vikings 8-1. Considering Skyview has won 18 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Maddie Milhorn was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Milhorn has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Milhorn was also big at the plate, going 4-for-4 with four RBI.
In other batting news, T Lies was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. J Stockton was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
