Baseball Recap: Lawrenceville School Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lawrenceville School extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 6-9 in the process. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates. For the Big Red, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

For West Windsor-Plainsboro South's part, Bennett Siegel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Kasof, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Coming up, Lawrenceville School will face off against Perkiomen School at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they will host West Windsor-Plainsboro North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
