Baseball Recap: Tunkhannock Comes Up Short

Tunkhannock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Lake-Lehman Knights.

Jack Welles was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those hits were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Kaleta, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Tunkhannock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lake-Lehman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tunkhannock is set to take on their familiar foe Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake-Lehman will square off against rival Hanover Area at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
