Pinnacle saw some tournament action on Saturday. They and the Willow Canyon Wildcats finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 tie. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kodi Crabtree spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

Pinnacle's tie makes their record 2-2-1 this season. Meanwhile, Willow Canyon's record is now 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Pinnacle will square off against Queen Creek at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Willow Canyon, they will welcome Chaparral at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Canyon is facing Chaparral at the right time seeing as Chaparral is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
