Basketball Recap: Grenada Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Grenada extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Carlei Brown. The Grenada Chargers came out on top against the Saltillo Tigers by a score of 51-43 on Friday thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 22 rebounds. The match was her seventh in a row with at least ten points.

Madison Woodard was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven assists and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Grenada is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Saltillo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Grenada will head out on the road to challenge Lake Cormorant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saltillo has already played their next game (against North Pontotoc), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
