Football Game Preview: Burbank Titans vs. Fairfield Falcons

For the first time this season, Burbank will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Fairfield Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Burbank is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Burbank came up short against Santa Rosa and fell 27-18.

Meanwhile, Fairfield was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 31-27 to Enterprise.

Even if they lost, Fairfield's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. In that department, Valentin Garibay was the leader with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Burbank was taken down by Fairfield 48-12 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
