Softball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry couldn't beat Jackson on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Panthers took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Polar Bears. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Polar Bears since Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Perry and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Perry will take on Anthony Wayne in a tournament on Saturday. As for Jackson, they will welcome Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Polar Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
