Baseball Recap: Sandy Gets the Win

Sandy got themselves on the board against Minico on Friday, but Minico never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

The team relied heavily on Kobe Sparks, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, one run, and one RBI.

Sandy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Minico struck out nine times.

Sandy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Minico, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Sandy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Borah on the 21st. As for Minico, they will face off against Emmett at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Minico is facing Emmett at the right time seeing as Emmett is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
