Soccer Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Byron Tigers. Freeport were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Byron apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Freeport now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Byron, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Freeport wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rockford Auburn on the 23rd. As for Byron, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Rockford Christian on the 22nd.
