Basketball Recap: Alexander Extends Home Winning Streak to 17

Alexander waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the United Longhorns 87-70. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Longhorns back in January, they had to take a 72-67 loss.

Alexander pushed their record up to 26-5 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for United, they moved to 19-10 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Alexander and United will both be playing United South the next time they take the court. Alexander will host United South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while United will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
