Normal West is a perfect 5-0 against Urbana since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Urbana will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Normal West extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Wildcats put the hurt on Champaign Central with a sharp 34-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Urbana). They enjoyed a cozy 42-26 win over Manual on Friday.

Urbana had a senior duo take command as Kyree Hillsman rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries and Sorrell Darough Jr. gained 145 total yards. Darough Jr. also set a new season-high mark in rushing yards with 114. Malik Mosley was another key player, rushing for 98 yards and a pair of scores.

Urbana didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Manual to a completion percentage of just 45%. The team can thank Melvin Braxton for the heroic effort on defense: he. Urbana wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 16.7%.

Urbana's defense didn't let Tyree Porter, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jabarris Guice and Andre Winters, who racked up four sacks between them.

Normal West's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Urbana, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Everything came up roses for Normal West against Urbana in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
