Volunteer gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Daniel Boone Trailblazers, posting a 30-0 win. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 37-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Volunteer found their leader in sophomore Bryson Christian, who rushed for 205 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries. Christian's longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
