Basketball Game Preview: Anna Coyotes vs. Melissa Cardinals

The Anna Coyotes will head out to square off against the Melissa Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Anna didn't have enough. They took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of McKinney North on Thursday. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Melissa was able to grind out a solid win over Sherman on Thursday, taking the game 42-29. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Anna's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Melissa, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

Anna didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Melissa in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
