Football Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a blow against the Mountain Grove Panthers, falling 66-6. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Panthers are ranked 76th).

As for Mountain Grove, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Aden Estep looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

Cabool wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 78-0 loss against Thayer on the 3rd. As for Mountain Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-6 win against Liberty on the 3rd.
