Basketball Recap: Lacey Township Comes Up Short

Lacey Township lost against Donovan Catholic back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lacey Township Lions received a blow as they fell 57-42 to the Donovan Catholic Griffins. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lacey Township's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Donovan Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lacey Township and Brick Township will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Donovan Catholic, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Toms River South at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Donovan Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
