Shawnee is a perfect 10-0 against Meridian since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Redskins will venture away from home to face off against the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Shawnee and 19 for Meridian dating back to last season.

Shawnee came up short against Scott City on Wednesday, falling 16-1.

Meanwhile, Meridian lost 13-3 to Agape Christian on Thursday.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Shawnee came out on top in a nail-biter against Meridian in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
