Softball Game Preview: Mora Mustangs vs. East Central Eagles

The Mora Mustangs will head out to face off against the East Central Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Mora after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 5-2 to Rush City. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, East Central didn't have quite enough to beat Crosby-Ironton on Tuesday and fell 5-4.

Mora's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Mora's way against East Central when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Mora made off with a 14-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
