Red Bluff extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 8-2. They came out on top against the Chico Panthers by a score of 31-19. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Ashden Wehbey threw for 179 yards and one touchdown. Bryce Owens was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Nikolas Mejia rushed for 62 yards.

As for Chico, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 14.8 points allowed.

Chico's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Shamar Riley, who gained 113 total yards, and Jake Detmer, who threw for 123 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.

Red Bluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chico, they will face off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.1 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
