Erie-Mason has gone 8-2 against Summerfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Erie-Mason will be strutting in after a win while Summerfield will be coming in after a loss.

Erie-Mason hadn't beaten Sand Creek on the road since April 23, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Aggies by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, Summerfield suffered their biggest defeat since May 17, 2024 on Monday. They lost 9-2 to Ida. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Bluestreaks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Summerfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jude Flowers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Flowers has hit this season.

Summerfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Erie-Mason, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13-1.

Erie-Mason skirted past Summerfield 3-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
